Rotational process characteristics

Rotational molding is also called Rotational Molding, Rotary Molding, Rotary Molding, Rotary Casting, and Rotary Molding. It is expressed in English as Rotational Moulding. The rotomolding process involves first adding plastic raw materials to the mold, and then the mold is continuously rotated and heated along two vertical axes. The plastic raw materials in the mold are gradually and evenly coated and melt-adhered to the mold under the action of gravity and heat energy. The entire surface of the cavity is shaped into the desired shape and then cooled to shape the product.
The rotomolding process has a strong alternative to many traditional processes and its own process advantages. Its low development cost, short production cycle, and adaptability to market changes make it widely used in construction machinery, automobiles, medical care, and military industries. Appliances, toys, environmental protection and other fields are particularly suitable for the production of large, hollow, seamless plastic products.
Rotomolding process advantages:
Mold processing costs economic
Overall molding
Reduced weight - compared to many metal parts
Uniform wall thickness
Thickness can vary as required
Finish and color diversity
Has the ability to produce multi-layer plastic parts
Flexible design - from small to complex to large and complex
Metal inserts as a whole
Short production cycle
Impact resistance and corrosion resistance
