What is rotomolding?

Rotational molding is also called Rotational Molding, Rotary Molding, Rotary Molding, Rotary Casting, and Rotary Molding. It is expressed in English as Rotational Moulding. The rotomolding process involves first adding plastic raw materials to the mold, and then the mold is continuously rotated and heated along two vertical axes. The plastic raw materials in the mold are gradually and evenly coated and melted and adhered to the mold under the action of gravity and thermal energy. The entire surface of the cavity is shaped into the desired shape and then cooled to shape the product.
There are many kinds of processing technology for plastics and their composite materials. In addition to our common extrusion molding, injection molding, blow molding and other processes, rotational molding is also a processing method for plastic products. At present, the rotomolding industry in foreign countries has developed rapidly, and due to various factors such as the slower processing cycle and materials used in the country, the rotomoulding industry has developed at a lower rate than other plastics forming and processing industries.
